History
RGB's history is comprised of service to the businesses and communities of southern New England. As Rhode Island's foremost design firm, we are cognizant of our work's place in shaping everyday environments that touch people in many aspects of their lives.
RGB's core philosophy has always considered the long-term consequences of our actions, and our creative designs have remained true to practical concerns. We invite you to view a portfolio piece developed circa 1980. This document depicts projects over a 25 year period. Notably, the document's introduction highlights a company philosophy that, in spite of the many modern technologies and processes now in use, resounds with RGB's current practice. Ecological concerns and innovative materials and processes receive mention as well.

Company Formation
The Robinson Green Beretta Corporation was formed in 1970. However, our beginning goes back to 1946 when the firm of Cull and Robinson was founded. Seven years later, this firm established an architectural partnership with the firm of Conrad E. Green (founded in 1948) under the name of Cull, Robinson, and Green. The name was changed to Robinson, Green, and Beretta when Joseph A. Beretta, who had started with Cull and Robinson in 1946 became a partner.
Joseph A. Beretta, an architect and engineer, became RGB's first president upon incorporation of the firm in 1970. His son, Joseph R. Beretta, joined the firm in 1973 and has served as president since 1997.
David DeQuattro, having joined the firm in 1992, became a principal in 2006. David is a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces in which he served for 12 years. Under David's leadership as managing principal, in 2017 the firm became a certified Veteran-owned business.
In 2016, both John Racine and Jason Iacobucci were named Associate Principals.
